Acceptance
By creating an account, using CourseHelper, or accessing any CourseHelper feature, you agree to these Terms of Use.
Eligibility and account responsibility
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping access to your device and account secure.
- You must not use CourseHelper in a way that violates applicable law, school policy, or the rights of other people.
What CourseHelper provides
CourseHelper helps users organize courses, schedule sessions, record or upload class audio, generate transcripts and summaries, create study artifacts such as flashcards and quizzes, and ask AI questions about course content.
Recordings, files, and lawful use
- You are solely responsible for making sure you have the right to record, upload, store, process, and share any audio, notes, or materials used with CourseHelper.
- You must obtain any required consent before recording or uploading class content.
- You must not use CourseHelper to violate privacy rights, confidentiality obligations, school rules, copyright, or other legal restrictions.
AI features and output
- AI-generated transcripts, summaries, flashcards, quizzes, and answers may be incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading.
- You should review important academic, factual, or legal information yourself instead of relying on AI output alone.
Subscriptions, packs, and credits
- Paid plans and credit packs are offered through Apple in-app purchases unless clearly stated otherwise.
- Credits may reset weekly, expire, or be consumed according to the plan or pack details shown in the app at the time of purchase or use.
- Credits have no cash value and are not transferable between users.
- Subscription billing, cancellations, and many refund requests are handled through Apple according to Apple rules.
Acceptable use
- No reverse engineering, disruption, abuse, or attempts to access another user's data.
- No unlawful or infringing content processing.
- No attempts to bypass usage limits, billing rules, or safeguards.
Availability and limitation
CourseHelper may change, improve, pause, or remove features over time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CourseHelper is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and CourseHelper and its operators are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, or academic outcomes arising from use of the service.
Apple App Store terms
If you download CourseHelper from Apple's App Store, Apple's Standard EULA or another valid custom EULA may apply in addition to these Terms. Apple's Standard EULA is available here: https://www.apple.com/legal/macapps/stdeula/.
